Specific Responsibilities

  • Specialize in MACOM’s High-Performance Analog ICs and their specific applications.
  • Provide expert level engineering support to customers, sales, FAEs, and marketing.
  • Work with design engineering to produce product documentation and applications collateral.
  • Solve challenging problems through analysis and hands-on lab work.

Qualifications / Skills

  • BSEE or similar degree and 10 years of experience in a related position are required.
  • MSEE degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience building 100G and 200G QSFP28 Single Mode and Multi-Mode optical transmission modules and associated standards is required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and strong communications skills are essential.
  • Experience with high performance analog applications is required.
  • Background in Design, Product, Evaluation, or Test Engineering in a mixed signal or analog environment is considered beneficial to a successful candidate.
  • Lab experience including advanced test and measurement instruments such as sampling and real-time oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, Optical Spectrum analyzer and Bit Error testers.
  • Proven track record on test measurements, data analysis and condense results to support Marketing, Sales and Customers is required.
  • Experience building optical transmission module and associated standards is required.

Pay

The Salary Range for this position is $97,900 – 166,700. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
