Applications Engineer

About the role

The Applications Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting field service applications that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions for field service operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of field service applications.
• Provide technical guidance and training to field service technicians.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of field service processes through technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or field service management.
• Experience with field service management systems and tools.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
