Applications Engineer
About the role
The Applications Engineer is responsible for implementing strategies to achieve significant long-term sales growth and customer satisfaction at assigned accounts. They drive all business development and sales activities for designated accounts, ensuring sales and profit growth meet or exceed goals set by the Sales Manager while achieving superior supplier ratings.
Responsibilities
- Organizes technical sales support to ensure successful customer integration of organization products.
- Conducts pre-sales activities, including understanding the customer’s business and analyzing their system and product needs.
- Participates in preparing and presenting technical proposals demonstrating how organization products meet customer needs and integrate with their systems and equipment.
- Collaborates on preparing and presenting customer systems/equipment needs plans to internal teams to ensure feasibility within cost, time, and environmental constraints.
Requirements
- A university degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong communication skills: oral, written, and presentation.
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
- Self-accountability for achieving goals and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and external customers.
Pay
Base Salary Range: $80,880.00 - $111,210.00. The final offer considers factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.
