About the role
As a member of the Engineering Team at OnLogic, you live at the intersection of many stakeholders. You prioritize and execute simultaneous responsibilities autonomously with the support of your team and management. On any given day, you may work directly with customers, partners, vendors, and colleagues in Sales, Production (Manufacturing), Technical Support, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, and Product Management. Each of these stakeholders brings unique perspectives and has different technical and communication needs. You bring all of that together to deliver excellent products, while building relationships internally and externally along the way.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating across teams to solve complex customer challenges and develop system-level solutions spanning computer, electrical, and software engineering, driving solutions through to completion.
- Prioritizing multiple tasks, managing time effectively, and communicating milestones clearly while executing to plan.
- Working with Sales Engineers to bridge the technical gap between customers and products, offering hands-on technical guidance and support.
- Techically evaluating and identifying potential new partners and use cases in collaboration with product managers. Supporting product ecosystem expansion.
- Working directly with customers to support new partnership implementations by joining calls, translating partner offerings into opportunities, and providing technical guidance.
- Diagnosing field failures to their root causes, identifying potential improvements, and documenting your findings internally and externally, as appropriate.
- Creating clear technical documentation such as guides, system notes, and customer applications.
- Serving as a liaison between the Firmware and Regulatory teams, ensuring proper testing and validation.
- Driving continuous improvement to streamline processes, minimize waste, and reduce inefficiencies across the company.
- Logging, tracking, and aggregating system design limitations to inform new product designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical fields, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with computer applications in manufacturing, machine vision, artificial intelligence (AI), defense, energy, or related fields.
- Detailed knowledge of computer systems, components, and operating systems.
- Experience with ARM architecture and sensor interfacing within a Linux environment.
- Must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and seamlessly adjust to new situations, priorities, and demands.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
