About the role

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking an Applications Engineer I to support our Production Software division and ESPRIT CAD/CAM solutions in the Midwest. This role provides pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, helping them successfully implement and utilize Hexagon’s CAD/CAM software solutions within their manufacturing environments. The Applications Engineer will serve as a technical resource for customers and internal teams, providing troubleshooting, training, application support, and customized solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field and an interest in CAD/CAM technology, CNC machining, and manufacturing processes. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with customers, collaborate with software development teams, and develop expertise across Hexagon’s Production Software portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for ESPRIT CAD/CAM software solutions.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers, helping troubleshoot software, programming, and application-related challenges.
• Support customers with the implementation and effective use of Hexagon Production Software solutions.
• Collaborate with software development and product teams to communicate customer feedback and support continued product improvement and growth.
• Develop customized software and application solutions to meet customer and industry partner requirements.
• Create, maintain, and deliver technical training materials and curriculum for customers and partners.
• Conduct technical demonstrations, training sessions, and application support both virtually and onsite.
• Travel to customer and industry partner facilities to execute projects, provide technical assistance, and conduct advanced training.
• Develop strong working relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams throughout the manufacturing industry.
• Apply practical problem-solving skills to identify customer needs and recommend effective technical solutions.
• Partner cross
