Responsibilities
- Create custom engineering designs
- Develop software configurations
- Generate bills of materials
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years of engineering or technical application experience
- Strong understanding of electrical control systems and industrial automation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database systems
- Experience interpreting technical specifications, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with radio remote control systems, industrial controls, or material handling equipment
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols
- Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering change processes
- Understanding of manufacturing and shop-floor operations
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time position based at Cattron World Headquarters in Warren, Ohio
- Standard daylight shift schedule
- Hybrid work arrangement currently available, allowing employees to work remotely 2–3 days per week, subject to business needs and company policy
- Occasional overtime may be required to support customer orders, project deadlines, or special assignments
- Travel may be required to support customer installations, commissioning, and technical service activities
