  • Performing ESP system design, offset well analysis, and engineering modeling calculations, including identification of operational risks and hazards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate well conditions, fluid properties, power availability, and mechanical constraints impacting ESP selection.
  • Designing ESP job programs, including pump sizing, motor loading, cable selection, risk mitigation steps, and contingency planning.
  • Communicating risks related to meeting customer ESP performance requirements through established processes.
  • Accurately documenting engineering calculations, simulations, modeling results, and design changes across the ESP lifecycle.
  • Providing on-demand technical support for ESP installations, start-ups, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Comparing job-as-planned versus job-as-executed outcomes, capturing lessons learned, and developing improvement recommendations.
  • Supporting field incident resolution related to ALS/ESP equipment and participating in incident investigations.
  • Ensuring timely incident management and corrective actions to support customer satisfaction and cash collection.
  • Identifying opportunities for ESP equipment or system improvements, particularly related to recurring failures or performance gaps.

  • Willing to travel to rig sites, customer locations, training, and operational facilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Significant operational experience with ESP and other artificial lift technologies.
  • Comfort presenting to technical audiences, including customers and peers.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn and use engineering software tools related to ESP design and system modeling.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple technical priorities.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Financial and retirement programs.
  • Life insurance and disability benefits.
  • Additional voluntary benefits.
