About the Division

The Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) Division provides industry-leading metrology solutions for worldwide semiconductor IC manufacturers. Our portfolio includes hardware and software solutions for optical film thickness, optical critical dimension (CD), composition, and resistivity measurement systems. These products are essential for IC manufacturers, supporting them from early research and development through high-volume in-line manufacturing. The FaST division operates globally with teams in the US, Israel, China, and India.

Responsibilities

  • Establish agreements and contracts with internal and external customers, ensuring they are met.
  • Allocate resources for projects and programs, securing necessary resources from the division, external providers, and customers.
  • Build and manage cohesive teams to drive project success.
  • Develop strategies and plans to improve cost efficiency, time management, quality, and productivity within the department.
  • Create strategies aligned with the division’s architectural vision that have cross-functional or cross-geographical impact.
  • Apply a broad understanding of KLA’s product suite and technology to address a wide variety of customer use cases.
  • Understand and align with customer needs, objectives, strategy, and direction.
  • Provide expert consultation on technical issues to peers, customers, and management.
  • Present and influence the adoption of new ideas to executive management, potentially shaping major product roadmap directions.
  • Engage in influencing and negotiating interactions across your span of control.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Master’s degree with 6-8 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience.
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in integrated circuit manufacturing or equivalent engineering applications.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • Expertise in multiple applications and their impact on various products.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize creative technical solutions and present them persuasively to management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated project leadership and management skills.
  • Track record in new concept development across a variety of projects.

Pay

Base pay range: $147,300.00 - $250,400.00 annually.

Primary location: USA-OR-Hillsboro-Beaverton, KLA.
