About the role

Mano Lani LLC is seeking an experienced Application Database Administrator to join our team. This role involves working with Oracle (version 19c or higher) and Microsoft SQL (version 2014 or higher) environments, providing comprehensive database administration support, and ensuring data processing and monitoring during core business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide database administration support for Oracle and Microsoft SQL environments
  • Develop technical specifications, design, develop, modify, test, and manage databases in DTMO's multi-tier architecture
  • Maintain and fine-tune databases through utilities and software packages aimed at monitoring the state of the database
  • Support database tools such as Structured Query Language Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Execute application implementation and upgrades of DTMO Enterprise systems
  • Conduct semi-annual SOP reviews
  • Test and validate backups coordinating with DMDC once a quarter and document in the Monthly Status Report
  • Administer (create/update/delete/reorganize) all database objects (tables/views/indexes/sequences/clusters/packages/procedures/triggers)
  • Perform data scrubs and refresh data in requested regions
  • Plan and implement data security (database object access and management)
  • Coordinate with DMDC to analyze and recommend data security standards and maintain storage data security
  • Monitor current disk usage statistics and storage capacity
  • Support Data Backup and Disaster Recovery activities including Information System Contingency Plans (ISCP) and Business Impact Analyses (BIA)
  • Coordinate with DMDC to support annual Continuity of Operations (COOP) exercises to ensure availability of the DTMO Passport website

Qualifications

  • Education: Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Oracle 19c or above certification AND Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL Server Administrator certification in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience of Database Administrator, experience administering enterprise database systems in government or enterprise environments, experience with Oracle Enterprise Database, experience with Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL), experience with Structured Query Language Server Integration Services (SSIS), experience with database clustering, mirroring, and replication, experience with SaaS, PaaS, and cloud platforms, experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning, familiarity with backup and recovery processes, high availability configurations, and disaster recovery planning, experience implementing database security controls and access management, knowledge of database integration with enterprise applications and system architectures, experience supporting change management, patch management, and system upgrades, strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay

USD $120,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
