As a Wash Bay Technician, you will play a key role in preparing vehicles for protective coatings and other shop services, ensuring high-quality results and excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Prepare and wash vehicles for protective coating and related services
• Pay close attention to debris such as road tar and environmental particles
• Perform washing, claying, and surface preparation with precision
• Follow instructions, procedures, and processes to maintain service quality
• Provide great customer service while supporting overall shop operations

• Ability to learn new tasks and processes quickly and accurately
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong work ethic in fast-paced environments
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain consistency
• Basic knowledge of vehicle washing and surface preparation

Work Environment

This position works in a shop setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The employee will work with:

• Power washer hoses and spray guns
• Wet indoor areas with scrub pads, chemical lines, and spray bottles

Physical Demands

• Use hands to handle tools, reach, and communicate
• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
• Occasionally sit, climb, or balance
• Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain strong visual abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus)
• Stand and/or move most of the day with minimal sitting
