Application Support Engineer

About the role

Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, is seeking an Application Support Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project design documents and scope of work, enhancing product knowledge of MTU and power equipment as necessary.
• Initiate, coordinate, procure, and assemble technical submittal documents for channel review and approval.
• Develop, modify, or procure technical drawings for onsite coordination of interconnects or conduit layouts.
• Learn and understand advanced concepts of building electrical distribution systems and apply power generation equipment and related technical scope of work.
• Provide technical support to Sales / Project Management Team.
• Develop, modify, or procure one-line diagrams for project designs.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to guide projects to successful turnover.
• Align project schedules to meet customer and project expectations.
• Coordinate quality-up-to-date opportunity data with Salesforce leads.
• Weekly coordinate with sales/project management team for application support and submittal duties.
• Respond effectively to customer's sense of urgency through consistent and timely communication.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when dealing with customers (internal & external).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the power industry and 3-phase power.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively.
• High level of productivity output.
• Presentation skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize demands.
• Respond effectively to changes in workload, schedules, and environment.
• Engineering Degree preferred; Electrical or Mechanical related.
