Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Siemens Opcenter and other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Administer and manage Ignition SCADA and Ignition Gateway, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement and monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics and improve shop-floor data collection processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and provide actionable solutions to prevent future incidents.
• Support application integrations and interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
• Participate in the application deployment, upgrades, and patching processes, maintaining the integrity of our production environment.
• Provide 24x7 manufacturing production support, being proactive in monitoring applications and addressing potential issues before they affect operations.
• Utilize programming skills in Python, Java, or other scripting languages to enhance application functionality and automate processes.
• Document processes, procedures, and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference and team training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application support for manufacturing execution systems (MOM, MES).
• Proficiency in Siemens Opcenter / Opcenter Execution, Ignition SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Strong experience in production support at L2/L3 levels, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with OEE monitoring and shop-floor data collection processes.
• Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis (RCA) and problem resolution.
• Experience with application integration and interface management.
• Ability to provide 24x7 support and respond quickly to production issues.
• Technical skills in application deployment, upgrades, and patching processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or relevant scripting languages.

Qualifications

• Experience with additional manufacturing systems or SCADA platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and data analytics tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in manufacturing operations.
• Relevant certifications in application support, manufacturing systems, or ITIL are a plus.
