Application Security Architect

IT Architect Program Management

Develops and leads an Application Security domain roadmap and manages related strategy and planning activities.

Manages the enterprise application and software security standards and promotes their use and enhancement with new or existing solutions.

Manages the enterprise SSDLC program within existing enterprise SDLC and CI/CD processes.

Standards Management

Responsible for the management of enterprise application and software security standards and promote their use and enhancement with new or existing solutions.

Training

• Promotes Secure Software Development practices to development teams.
• Leads and conducts secure software development training and awareness sessions for development teams.

Tools

• Provides Subject Matter Expertise for all application security technologies (SAST, DAST, SCA, WAF, etc.) with heavy participation in key decision-making processes for the acquisition of current/new technologies.
• Experience and understanding of how to leverage AI technologies (Kiro, Amazon Q, Amazon Bedrock etc).
• Experience and understanding of AI Security Platforms (Zenity, PA AIRS, etc).

Policy & Procedures

• Complies with IT policy, procedure, and process.
• Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• Complies and follows all procedures within the company security policy.

Continuous Improvement

• Utilizes Lean Six Sigma or other methods to identify & provide guidance on organizational improvement opportunities.
• Performs root cause analysis and remediation actions.
• Contributes to Jabil IP though development and submission of patents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Post-graduate degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems expected.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in a related discipline.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)
• Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD)
• Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
• Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB)
• Public Cloud Security (GPCS)
• Certified Cloud Penetration Tester (GCPN)

Others (Preferred, but not required or necessary)

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Open CA Level 1: Certified or Level 2 Master

Pay Range

$126,100 - $227,000
