Application Security Analyst

About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI systems — and we need security professionals who understand how software actually breaks in the real world. As an Application Security Analyst, you'll work with realistic security scenarios to help frontier AI models learn how to assess, prioritize, and remediate application risk. Your expertise in identifying exploitable vulnerabilities — not just theoretical ones — will directly shape how AI reasons about software security.

What You'll Do

• Analyze real-world application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
• Classify and prioritize vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic weaknesses
• Evaluate the quality and correctness of secure coding practices and remediation strategies
• Create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI how to accurately assess application risk
• Apply your judgment to distinguish genuinely exploitable issues from low-signal theoretical risks

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in application security, product security, or software security roles
• Strong familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities
• Able to think like an attacker — you understand real exploitability, not just CVE scores
• A clear, structured written communicator who can explain security reasoning concisely
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with bug bounty programs, penetration testing, or secure code review
• Familiarity with SAST/DAST tooling or security-focused development workflows
• Prior experience contributing to AI training, annotation, or evaluation projects
