Application Scientist - ICP-MS

About the role

The role involves conducting advanced chemical analyses using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) techniques. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of scientists to develop and validate analytical methods, interpret data, and provide technical support.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex chemical analyses using ICP-MS instruments
• Develop and validate new analytical methods for various samples
• Interpret data and prepare reports for clients
• Collaborate with other scientists to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in ICP-MS analysis
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation
• Experience working in a laboratory setting and proficiency with laboratory equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of environmental, pharmaceutical, or food science
