Application Engineering Production Documents Intern (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Application engineering Production Documents Intern at Musco Sports Lighting, LLC plays a key role in assisting and supporting the Application Engineering team by helping prepare project information and materials that keep work moving smoothly, while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project documents and materials that support the Application Engineering team.
• Create bills of materials, documents, and 3D models using Musco proprietary software.
• Develop pole configuration drawings, aiming diagrams, and related contractor documents using AutoCAD.
• Assist with modeling parts in Inventor when needed.
• Support manufacturing and project execution by helping ensure accurate information is available for each project.

Requirements

• Freshmen, Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial technology
• Strong written and communication skills
• Motivated self-starter and collaborative problem solver
• Able to work without supervision
• Strong computer skills in standard MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Skills

• Musco proprietary software
• AutoCAD
• Inventor

Qualifications

• Willingness to work in an office environment
• Must complete required Musco security and protocol trainings

Schedule

Part-Time Hours, in-person availability during standard business hours, Monday – Friday at our Oskaloosa office.
