Application Engineering Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Team and project management: Manages application engineers, assigns projects, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently.
• Technical leadership: Provides technical guidance, mentorship, and training to the sales engineering team. Develops and delivers technical product presentations used to engage customers and prospects and educate sales teams.
• Stays updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Sales collaboration: Works with sales managers to develop account strategies, identify opportunities, and support closing deals. Interacts with customers' technical teams for support.
• Reviews sales proposals for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Performance management: Conducts performance evaluations and helps team members develop their skills and reach their potential.
• Customer and product support: Ensures the team provides excellent technical support to customers and that products are aligned with customer needs and industry standards. Provides technical support, uses technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing estimates and implementation guidance based on customer requirements.
• Leading the design and development of complex application features and functionalities: Translates technical specifications into code, including writing programs, testing, and debugging. Performs system analysis, architecture design, and integration with other systems. Troubleshoots complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
