Application Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Periodically travel to different branches to do joint sales calls with the application team and work on application sales tactics
• Track and monitor partner certification requirements and ensure they are met on a quarterly basis
• Provide plans for when changes to the team require catching up on certifications
• Define a tracking and reporting method for utilization on application engineering supported sales calls
• Collaborate with marketing to drive SIPEC initiatives across the organization
• Define and drive the generation of white papers and technical videos of core products

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited University or Equivalent Experience
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of leadership or team management experience

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical designs of automation and control systems
• Extensive experience in automation application field sales
• Strong work ethic and capacity to thrive in a team environment
• Excel in both verbal and written communications
• Proficiency in Microsoft software (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and business software used by the company
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, and QMS systems
