Application Engineering Co-Op (Fall)

About the role

Support Application Engineers and Firmware Design Engineers in troubleshooting customer reported product issues, developing customer solutions, and performing application testing in support of customers for our COPRA, FFU and various forward curve and backward curve blowers. Will be responsible for defining and creating test setups and conditions and performing testing to discover the root cause of a customer communicated issue. Will assist application engineers with customer requested testing and/or new product application testing. Will assist in the creation of drawings, documentation, and other related standard work.

Responsibilities

• Support Application Engineers and Firmware Design Engineers in troubleshooting customer reported product issues, developing customer solutions, and performing application testing in support of customers for our COPRA, FFU and various forward curve and backward curve blowers.
• Will be responsible for defining and creating test setups and conditions and performing testing to discover the root cause of a customer communicated issue.
• Will assist application engineers with customer requested testing and/or new product application testing.
• Will assist in the creation of drawings, documentation, and other related standard work.
• May travel to other RRX lab locations (Tipp City, Cassville) to support critical project or test needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and principles.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The position is full-time and may require some evening and weekend work as needed.
