Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to project planning, defining technical objectives, and business growth
- Aid in prototyping, lab work, and hands-on testing of products
- Identify, develop, and deliver solutions that allow AFT to capture value and meet customer needs
- Manage all aspects of the technology processes related to AFT products and services
- Work closely with the Business Development team to identify and develop new market opportunities and expand our customer base for existing and emerging materials
- Support the development, testing, and commercialization of new materials and products, collaborating with internal teams to drive innovation and meet customer needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electronics
- Demonstrated technical proficiency, the ability to build customer relationships and business development experience are essential
- Ability to use one's initiative, effective time management skills, and result orientation
- Able to demonstrate a high level of learning agility with the ability to adapt and learn new materials, applications, and processes
- Excellent communication skills for global communication in English and the ability to lead a team of peers (which will often include other functions in Qnity, customer, and OEM personnel) are essential
- Demonstrated laboratory and hands-on experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- At least three years' experience in designing high-voltage electric machines is also preferred
- Experience in the electronics industry is preferred
- Familiarity with SalesForce.com or other CRM systems is a plus
