Essential Functions
- Provides engineered solutions, applications, and product support to key customers, RSM’s, and industrial representatives.
- Gains a comprehension of customer design requirements through the review of specifications, drawings, and customer interface.
- Develop designed solutions and equipment selections.
- Travel as needed in support of customer, RSM, and industrial representatives.
- Prepares cost estimates and proposals by studying blueprints, specifications, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
- Develops equipment/project scope definition and "turnover" documentation to engineering and production for manufacturing of the equipment.
- Follows through and reviews of equipment design and fabrication to ensure project scope customer requirements are being met.
- Follows through and reviews of equipment design and fabrication to ensure equipment cost and profitability targets are met.
- Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, suppliers, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
- Supports equipment selection software distribution, updates, and technical support.
- Provides timely response to all support requests.
- Confers, cooperates, and communicates with all elements of the company.
- Develops customers' knowledge by providing technical information and training.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Experience and Skills
- BSME, or similar Engineering Degree
- Strong Communications/Interpersonal Skills
- Self-Motivated and Driven
- Ability to work and excel in a Team environment
- Preferred Experience: HVAC experience, BSME preferred, BS Chemical Engineering
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform sedentary work to light physical labor.
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Daily walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing for sustained periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines; using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
