Application Engineer

About the role

The role involves designing, developing, and testing software applications. The team works closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Test and debug software applications to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and principles.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.

Skills

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
