About the role
The Application Developer C position is part of the Pathology department platform for computational pathology and biomedical research.
Responsibilities
- Develops, deploys, and maintains software applications, data pipelines, and AI-enabled tools for whole-slide image analysis, multimodal data integration, and clinical research workflows.
- Works closely with researchers and clinicians to translate innovative AI methods into scalable and user-friendly software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with software development using Python, Next.JS, electron, and modern software engineering practices.
- Familiarity with web application development, databases, APIs, and version control systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
