Application Developer

About the role

BlueStorm Technologies is seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our Enterprise Services Team. In this role, you will collaborate with team members to provide reliable enterprise-class platforms, focusing on continual process improvement and high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications to support a variety of products, services, and users.
• Demonstrate excellent modeling and design skills.
• Act as a self-starter, managing expectations with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with the project team to deliver reliable enterprise-class web solutions.
• Recommend software or process improvements based on patterns in user-reported issues, emphasizing continual process improvement.
• Apply a firm understanding of data to manage and visualize it in ways that provide customers with useful, actionable information.
• Handle multiple responsibilities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related technical field of study is desirable.
• Experience and certification in related technologies.
• Experience with the Java/JEE platform is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivation to stay current with industry trends.
