About the Opportunity: The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining application solutions that meet the needs of various business departments within the organization. This role translates software requirements into effective technical solutions, adapts and integrates off-the-shelf software into the existing architecture, and ensures ongoing support for business applications. The position supports critical business strategies by collaborating with stakeholders and external vendors, contributing to system enhancements, and troubleshooting production issues.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify system enhancement opportunities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop, review, and modify programs using JHA Symitar PowerOn programming language
- Work with third-party vendors to implement, maintain, and support software and hardware integrations
- Follow software development life cycle (SDLC) procedures to deliver application solutions
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve production application issues or escalate as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent
