Responsibilities
- Contribute to software development lifecycle efforts including requirements gathering, design, prototyping, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation of new and existing software projects.
- Manage, monitor, troubleshoot and support existing projects and processes; collaborate with various cross-functional teams to determine and define software requirements and propose software solutions.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise and work with a wider team to ensure development activities are aligned with the scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
- Participate in mentoring junior team members where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development or related field with programming related courses or equivalent; strong knowledge and understanding of application development principles, including design, documentation, and programming skills.
- Experience with database design/development, application lifecycle management, user interface frameworks, and web/web services/cloud development.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and remain on task.
- Strong programming skills in C#/.NET, C++, Javascript, and Python.
- Experience developing and consuming web service API's (REST, SOAP, etc.) and handling XML/JSON.
- Experience with SQL databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, and/or No-SQL database platforms.
- Experience with cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure.
- (Preferred) Experience with modern UI frameworks.
- A strong understanding of Object Oriented Design principles.

$88,000.00
