Application Developer

BlueStorm Technologies is seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our Enterprise Services Team. Collaborate with team members to deliver reliable, enterprise-class platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications to support a variety of products, services, and users
• Demonstrate excellent modeling and design skills
• Act as a self-starter, managing expectations with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with the project team to provide reliable enterprise-class web solutions
• Recommend software or process improvements based on patterns in user-reported issues, focusing on continual process improvement
• Understand data and how best to manage and visualize it to provide customers with useful, actionable information
• Handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical field of study
• Experience and certification in related technologies is desirable
• Experience with the Java/JEE platform is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Focus on continual process improvement and creating high-quality deliverables
• Ability to communicate issue resolution and vision effectively
• Motivated to keep up with industry trends
• Professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills
