Platform Engineer
Responsibilities
- Distributed Application Development, Support, and Operations
- Application Availability, Performance, Incident, Change, Problem, and Capacity Management
- Containerization Technologies and Orchestration Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- DevOps and CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred)
- Monitoring and Observability Tools (DataDog, CloudWatch)
- ITSM Processes and Tools
- Defect and Work Management Tools (Jira)
- Strong Customer Relationship and Stakeholder Management
- Production Support Governance and SLA Management
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, and IT Operations within enterprise environments.
