Application Architect

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Application Architect to design and govern enterprise-grade application architectures spanning cloud platforms, integration ecosystems, data domains, and large business application portfolios. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering leaders to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and maintainable technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise-grade application architectures across cloud platforms, integration ecosystems, and data domains.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering leaders to align technology solutions with strategic objectives.
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and present them to senior leadership.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction across teams.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, cost optimization, scalability, and resilience requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
• Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architectures.
• Deep familiarity with at least one major enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday.
• Working knowledge of identity, security, and data governance frameworks at enterprise scale.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction across teams.
• Strong understanding of cost optimization, scalability, and resilience trade-offs.

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture certifications.
• Experience with large-scale ERP, CRM, or HCM transformation programs.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture tooling such as LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA.
• Experience driving cloud governance, FinOps, and cost transparency initiatives.

Pay

Salary Range: $175,000–$200,000 Annually
