About the role
We are seeking an Application & Process Engineer to drive innovative water treatment solutions from design to field implementation.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom process designs based on water quality data and technical specifications.
- Select and size equipment to optimize capital and operational costs.
- Lead client interactions, present engineering solutions, and guide technical decisions.
- Create essential process documentation such as P&IDs, PFDs, and layout drawings.
- Mobilize, start up, and commission water treatment systems onsite, troubleshoot, and optimize performance.
- Ensure designs meet environmental, safety, and regulatory standards, including conducting HAZOP reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- 4–7 years of experience in water/wastewater process engineering, technical sales support, or field commissioning.
- Proficiency with water treatment processes, fluid dynamics, and AutoCAD.
- Experience with drafting P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and proposal writing.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., NYDEC, NJDEP).
- Field readiness, including OSHA HAZWOPER certification and a valid driver’s license.
- Preferred credentials include FE/EIT or PE licensure.
