Application Analyst (HR Systems Experience) - Remote
About the role
The Application Analyst performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications and designs, builds, tests, deploys, and supports new applications and modules within their portfolio. The role involves working with the IT Business Analyst, vendors, and other IT team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests. The analyst achieves in-depth knowledge of the software applications, operational workflows, and the policies, procedures, and constraints of the business operations supported by the application.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical configuration and setup of assigned application(s).
- Support the administration of server environments.
- Plan, test, deploy, and support assigned applications.
- Collaborate with Application Leads to align projects to application releases and participate in aligning cross-application schedules as needed per the Integrated Release Calendar.
- Support the creation of the Release Test Plan by the QA team.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and mitigate risks.
- Consult with team members to make software and hardware configuration recommendations.
- Identify and facilitate the resolution of release-level issues.
- Identify Release Governance process improvements through analysis of process and systems.
- Support various phases of application development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Update Release Governance process as needed.
- Provide production support, including periodic after-hours and weekend support responsibilities.
- Support dry-run activities and go-live execution to ensure code integrity.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $69,500 – $104,200 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
