That’s where you come in… As an Appliance Repair Apprentice, you’ll receive hands-on training from experienced technicians while building the skills needed for a long-term career. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and helping people get back to their daily routines. Excellent attendance, punctuality and positive attitude are essential for this position and our business. Apprentice Essential Functions Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, etc.)Learn to use specialized tools and diagnostic equipmentProvide excellent customer service during home visits Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairsParticipate in ongoing training, ride-along with senior technicians, and skill building sessionsFollow all safety and compliance protocolsSupport additional service operations tasks as needed Qualification Requirements High school graduate or GEDMust be at least 18 years of ageMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving recordClean background check and drug testReliable transportationBasic mathematical skills and mechanical knowledge, including the use of a computer, tools, and test equipmentAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, and follow instructions Physical Demands The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, reach overhead, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must also be able to lift and/or move appliances up to 75lbs.
