Appliance Delivery Helper

As a Deliver Experience Cadet, you’ll assist with the delivery, installation, repair, and haul-away of appliances and other equipment, including consumer electronics devices.

Responsibilities

• Attend appointments individually or lead a two-person crew up to 30% of the time
• Complete basic complexity installation and repair of home theater equipment and appliances
• Determine the best way to install major appliances, including measuring and protecting areas en route and deciding if doors or fixtures need to be moved
• Remove and re-install doors and panels as necessary
• Provide a seamless client experience by offering advice on product placement and services
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with team members
• Process paperwork and payment, provide feedback to store teams, and complete in-store repairs

Requirements

• 6 months of customer service, sales, installation, or large product delivery experience
• Current, valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards (minimal violations/accidents)
• Ability to lift 350 pounds individually or 700 pounds as a team with support tools (e.g., harness, dolly, or lift), with or without reasonable accommodation
• At least 21 years old
• Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing within 90 days of hire, if required
