Job Summary

Neal's Appliance in Killen, AL is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and enjoys helping people. Key responsibilities include delivering household goods, managing various situations, and adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
• Follow route and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Able to operate forklifts and pallet jack in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express van
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
