Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives
- Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystems
- Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies
- Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
- Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration
- Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations
- Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement
- Provide thought leadership on process improvement
- Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions
- 6+ years of related IT experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
- Active Appian Lead Certification
- Strong experience with Agile delivery
- Strong technical implementation skills
- Strong database design and development skills
- Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing
- Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes
- Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments
- Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Organizational skills, attention to details, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage)
- Willingness to travel 0-15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
- Experience with Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)
- Experience with Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with Source Control (e.g., Git, SVN, CVS)
- Experience with Software troubleshooting and performance tuning
