About the role
Groundswell is a premier technology integrator and solution provider dedicated to addressing the complex challenges faced by federal agencies. As a small company with a big impact, we're seeking experienced technical Appian consultants who can provide integrated architecture support and act as trusted advisors to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to drive technical success
- Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that meet their unique needs and ecosystems
- Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies
- Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
- Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration
- Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations
- Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement
- Provide thought leadership on process improvement
- Mentor, train, and enablement of resources
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions
- 6+ years of related IT experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
- Active Appian Lead Certification
- Strong experience with Agile delivery
- Strong technical implementation skills
- Strong database design and development skills
- Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing
- Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes
- Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments
- Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Strong organizational skills, attention to details, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team
- Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro area
- U.S. Citizen required
- Willingness to travel 0-15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX
