Key Responsibilities

• Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to ensure technical success.
• Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions tailored to their unique needs and ecosystems.
• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions using Appian and related technologies, ensuring solutions are scalable and performant.
• Integrate multi-tier architectures through integrations and system configurations, evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for their value and fit in client or back-office implementations, and create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement, mentor, train, and enablement of resources.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
• 6+ years of related IT experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
• Active Appian Lead Certification.
• Strong experience with Agile delivery.
• Strong technical implementation skills.
• Strong database design and development skills.
• Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing.
• Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
• Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments.
• Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to details, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a “do whatever it takes attitude”).
• Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
• U.S. Citizen required.
• Must be willing to travel 0-15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX.

• Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
• Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
• Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Source Control (e.g., Git, SVN, CVS).
• Software troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $113,230.00 - $200,508.00.
