Responsibilities
- Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to ensure technical success.
- Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions tailored to their unique needs and ecosystems.
- Mentor implementation teams on advanced technical solutions and platform design, ensuring solutions are scalable and performant.
- Integrate multi-tier architectures through integrations and system configurations, and evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for their value and fit in client or back-office implementations.
- Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
- Provide thought leadership on process improvement, mentoring, training, and enabling resources.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
- 6+ years of related IT experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
- Active Appian Lead Certification.
- Strong experience with Agile delivery.
- Strong technical implementation skills.
- Strong database design and development skills.
- Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing.
- Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
- Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments.
- Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to details, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task, and work both independently and as a team.
- Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
- U.S. Citizen required.
- Willingness to travel 0-15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX.
Qualifications
- Experience working in RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Experience with Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
- Experience with Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
- Experience with Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with Source Control (e.g., Git, SVN, CVS).
- Experience with Software troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Skills
- Certification: Active Appian Lead Certification.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $113,230.00 - $200,508.00, taking into account various factors including skill sets, experience, and organizational needs.
Schedule
Reasonable estimates of the current range have not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
