Responsibilities

  • Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to ensure technical success.
  • Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions tailored to their unique needs and ecosystems.
  • Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions using Appian and related technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging or existing technologies for their value and suitability in client or back-office implementations.
  • Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal use.
  • Provide thought leadership on process improvement and support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
  • Mentor and train resources within the organization.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
  • 6+ years of related IT experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Active Appian Lead Certification.
  • Strong experience with Agile delivery.
  • Strong technical implementation skills.
  • Strong database design and development skills.
  • Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing.
  • Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
  • Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments.
  • Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to details, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Prioritization and management skills, including courtesy, professionalism, and a "do whatever it takes" attitude.
  • Preference given to candidates local to the DC Metro area.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Willingness to travel 0-15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX.
