Responsibilities
- Staff Counsel for CURE Auto Insurance
- Handle appeals of automobile insurance claims as assigned
- Counsel and assist underwriting, SIU, and other departments as needed
- May have the possibility for a leadership position in the legal department
- Expand scope of role as the operation develops
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience handling automobile insurance claims
- 1 year handling appeals of automobile insurance claims
- Extensive knowledge of local and state discovery rules, appellate procedures, and applicable substantive law
- Experience drafting appellate documents and arguing appeals
- Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters
- Strong automation/technological skills for courtroom presentation

Pay
$130,000 - $170,000 annually based on experience
Schedule
We offer flexible work hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with options like 8–4, 8:30–4:30, or 9–5.
