Apparel Supervisor I

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensures that daily production quotas are met.
• Ensures that quality products are produced.
• Completes documentation and reports as outlined in the quality assurance plan, including attendance, payroll, and production reports.
• Reports production and mechanical issues to the Supervisor.
• Attends training meetings as assigned.
• Mets the 3-hour per year requirement of training/staff development.
• Utilizes a teamwork approach for all projects.
• Supports ISO-9000 and Quality Management Systems requirements.
• Promotes vision, value, culture, and commitment to excellent customer service to all customers and stakeholders.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Assists with training people with or without disabilities as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directs the work of workers/participants in the Apparel Department.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints; and resolves problems.
