About the role
The Sales Outfitter plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position involves greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise with care, and providing necessary information and assistance.
Responsibilities
- Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service
- Ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
- Demonstrates product knowledge to customers
- Replenishes product on shelves as required according to Merchandising guidelines
- Maintains product expertise through ongoing training
- Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintains accurate pricing
- Aids in seasonal floor merchandise moves
- Restocks merchandise as needed
- Keeps work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Fulfills all Company Policies and Procedures
- Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers in making informed buying decisions
- Identifies and evaluates customers' needs
- Makes product recommendations based on the evaluation
- Promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up
Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate discounts and make change to customers
- Communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and colleagues
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers
- Operate a computerized Point of Sale register system
