About the role

The Sales Outfitter plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. This position involves a variety of selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise carefully, providing information, assistance, and direction.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Demonstrates product knowledge to customers.
• Replenishes product on shelves as required according to Merchandising guidelines.
• Maintains product expertise through ongoing training.
• Remains knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintains accurate pricing and signage.
• Aids in seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Restocks merchandise as needed.
• Keeps work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Fulfills all company policies and procedures.
• Provides a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions through identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Knowledgeable of product and able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Proficiency in operating a computerized Point of Sale register system.
