Employment Type Full time Shift Description: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Pulmonary Outpatient Clinic MercyOne Genesis – Davenport, Iowa Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Pulmonary team in an outpatient-only setting. This role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in partnership with our Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians, supporting continuity of care for patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient care for pulmonary patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic respiratory conditionsCollaborate closely with Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians to manage shared patient panelsConduct follow-up visits, medication management, and care plan adjustmentsCoordinate care across specialties, including referrals, testing, and proceduresEducate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and preventive careReview diagnostic studies such as pulmonary function tests, imaging, and lab resultsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Practice Details 100% outpatient pulmonary clinicNo inpatient responsibilitiesWork alongside a collaborative team of Pulmonary and Critical Care physiciansEstablished patient base with strong referral networkSupportive clinical and administrative staff Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programBoard certified (or eligible)Active or eligible for licensure in the state of IowaExperience in pulmonary, critical care, or internal medicine preferred, but not requiredStrong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, weekday scheduleNo nights, weekends, or call responsibilitiesTeam-oriented, collegial environment focused on high-quality care Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package$10,000 starting bonusComprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time offCME allowance and professional development support Why Join Us?
