APP Pediatric Critical Care

Responsibilities

• Provides healthcare to pediatric patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care.
• Works independently and collaboratively to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage, and evaluate patient care.
• Functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.

Required: Collaborative/Supervisory Agreement as required and in alignment with state and board regulatory statutes; Valid DEA number and KASPER registration if prescribing controlled substances; Maintains appropriate scope of practice within population.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• National Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

Desired:

• Doctorate Degree in Nursing
