About the Role

Float locations: Staten Island and Brooklyn. Monday-Friday 5/8.5 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in alignment with State and Federal regulations and nursing standards of care.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative clinical care.
  • Deliver patient-centered care focused on improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure or Physician Assistant License.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Oncology/Hematology (helpful but not required).
  • Strong computer skills; experience with EMR is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to all locations listed.

Pay

Salary up to $165,000/year based on experience.
