APP (NP) Pediatric Gastroenterology

About the role
This role supports our outpatient pediatric gastroenterology services, focusing on the care of children with gastrointestinal disorders. Potential opportunities include supporting selected gastrointestinal disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for pediatric GI patients, emphasizing chronic disease management, care coordination, education, and longitudinal follow-up.
- Participate in shared after-hours call responsibilities, addressing patient and parent concerns related to GI conditions.
- Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, develop management plans, and prescribe appropriate therapies.
- Care for patients under the age of 21; require pediatric NP certification and experience.
Requirements
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification.
- Experience in pediatrics, preferably in a specialty setting.

Pay
Compensation range: $140,000-$160,000, adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank.
Schedule
Faculty members are eligible for federal student loan forgiveness programs.
