About the Role

In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Scope of practice encompasses:

• Expert clinical practice
• Expert guidance and coaching of patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Research
• Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems)
• Education

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
• Current certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Hold a valid, current New Jersey physician assistant license.
• OR Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey with a primary focus of education and training as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience preferred.

Skills

• Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Available to serve on call if required.

Pay

Per Diem Rate of $90/hour.

Schedule

Night shift.
