App Delivery Intern

About the role

The Global Infrastructure Services department is responsible for the full life cycle of Quad’s infrastructure systems, core software platforms and systems automation. As an intern, you will join the application virtualization and business systems technical team, supporting their planning, installation, support, and optimization of platforms and technologies including Citrix and Horizon application delivery platforms, virtual compute, networking and security configurations. You will also assist with the maintenance of core financial and manufacturing third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations and support of IT infrastructure and operations teams.
• Work under the guidance of an experienced team member, gaining increasing responsibilities as you improve your skills.
• Receive mentorship from an experienced team member and collaborate with your manager on professional development.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program (MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field).
• General knowledge and/or interest in infrastructure components such as Microsoft Windows OS and Server, Linux Systems, OS upgrades, virtualization, Active Directory/Group Policy, IT Security, and AI and Software Lifecycle Management.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, VB script, Python).
• A natural curiosity in understanding how technology can solve business problems.

Qualifications

Students who can start immediately are encouraged to apply. Internships are available year-round, requiring part-time work (15-20 hours/week) during the Spring and Fall semesters and full-time work (37.5-40 hours/week) during the Summer. The working environment is hybrid, combining some remote work with in-person work at our headquarters in Sussex, WI.
