APP - Cardiology - Richmond/Scotland
About the role
A combined Inpatient/Outpatient position, Monday through Friday schedule. Inpatient responsibilities include new consults, stress and nuclear test supervision, follow-up visits, and early discharges. Outpatient responsibilities include new patient clinic visits and follow-up visits along with timely administrative tasks in Epic EMR.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full-service cardiology practice, working alongside 30+ experienced providers in 6 clinic locations supporting 5 hospitals in the region.
- Be a member of the FirstHealth Physician Group, a team of 400+ hospital-employed providers.

Requirements
- NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
- PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
- Prefer 2+ years of advanced practice experience in Cardiology.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
- Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required.
- ACLS preferred.
Qualifications
